If you encounter sync errors while connecting Vault to QuickBooks or Xero, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Log into Vault
Step 2: From the side menu bar, select "Accounting"
Step 3: Select the icon (curved arrows) to update the accounting data in Vault.
Step 4: Select “Sync to QuickBooks” or “Sync to Xero” to push the latest transactions to your accounting software.
If you’re still experiencing sync errors after refreshing and attempting to sync again, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting Vault to QuickBooks/Xero.
⚠️ Important: Before disconnecting, be aware that this may require you to recategorize some transactions in your accounting software.

Step 2: From the side menu bar on the bottom left, select "Your Name" profile
Step 3: Select "Accounting" on the settings page
Step 4: Select "Disconnect" to either QuickBooks or Xero
Step 5: Select "Connect" to either QuickBooks or Xero
