My bank won't let me accept the request from Interac to add funds. What can I do?

If you requested more money than your bank has allowed when adding funds via Interac e-Transfer Request, kindly decline the request on the email from Interac. You could then create a new request from your Vault account which is below your bank's daily limit.

Example:

  • You requested $4,000 CAD using Interac e-Transfer Request on Vault.

  • You receive an email from Interac to approve the request.

  • Your external bank does not allow the request to be approved as it is above the hypothetical daily limit of $3,000 CAD.

  • You could reject the transfer request from the email from Interac and redo the request below $3,000 CAD when adding funds again using Interac e-Transfer Request on your Vault.
