If you sell on multiple Shopify marketplaces, you can withdraw your different currency earnings directly into Vault multi-currency accounts. Receiving the payments in your same currency you sell in will save you on FX fees.

Your Vault account details are compatible with Shopify Canada, Shopify US, Shopify Europe, and Shopify UK.

Here’s how you can set up your Vault account details to receive local currency payments from your various Shopify seller accounts.

  1. Click Settings > Account Info > Payment Info > Bank Account Info

  2. Add or replace bank details. If you’re replacing existing bank account details, select Replace. If you’re adding new bank account details, select Assign.

  3. Select Add new deposit method.

    • Shopify Canada: Add your account, transit, and financial institution numbers.

    • Shopify US: Add your account number and ACH routing number.

    • Shopify Europe: Add your IBAN and BIC details.

    • Shopify UK: Add your sort code and bank account number.

  4. Select the bank location. This is the country listed under on the bank under the Accounts tab. For example, the CAD account is in Canada, and the USD account is in the US.

  5. Add your bank account details.

  6. Verify your bank account details. This is the account number you used when initially setting up your Shopify account.

  7. Save your details. You can do this by clicking Set deposit method.

Note: We have noticed some customers getting an error when they attempt to do this but we've worked with the Shopify team on this. If you run into the error you'll just need to message the support team and ask them to whitelist the account. Once that's done you'll be able to link the account or they will link it for you.
