A clearing account will be created since Xero requires all transactions that include a currency exchange to be converted to your Home currency.

For example, if your Home currency is CAD and you choose to convert USD to GBP, Xero still requires us to record the transaction in CAD. This means we’ll record a USD to CAD transaction in addition to a CAD to GBP transaction in your ‘Vault clearing from CAD’.
