We only support pre-authorized debits (PAD) for linking to CAD bank accounts and do not currently support pre-authorized debits (PAD) for linking to any USD bank accounts. However, we will be enabling PAD to USD bank account soon this 2025!

Any PAD attempts initiated by Shopify and Stripe specific to your Vault USD account will be unsuccessful and risk having your account blacklisted on these platforms. As such, kindly only use your Vault USD account to receive funds on these platforms.

As an extra precaution, Shopify and Stripe do also have features on their respective platforms like Stripe and their "Minimum balance" feature which will keep aside funds specific for debit transactions (e.g., processing refunds or paying fees).

Therefore, we recommend our users to utilize these features to prevent any incidence of their funds being withheld by these platforms until we enable the ability to do PAD on your Vault USD account.
