How do I fix the Plaid error when linking bank account?

We only support pre-authorized debits (PAD) for linking to CAD bank accounts.

How to fix the Plaid error when linking a bank account ?

Step 1: Log into your bank account

Step 2: Click on "Profile & Account Settings"

Step 3: Select "Security"

Step 4: Click on "2-step verification"

Step 5: Switch it off temporarily

If you are unable to link your bank account through the standard process, you can request manual linking by emailing us at support@tryvault.com with the following:

1. Attach your latest 3 months of bank statements.

2. Use "[PAD] Manually Linking Bank Account" as the subject of your email.

Once we receive your email, our team will review your request and get back to you shortly.
