The message you’re seeing is not an error, but a warning to help prevent confusion between different types of payments:

  • Wire Transfer (SWIFT) and

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

These are not the same, and providing incorrect details to the sender can result in the funds being returned to them.

What Should I Do?

  • Double-check the payment method the sender is using (Wire vs. EFT).

  • Ensure the correct account details are provided based on the transfer type.
