If you're having trouble linking your RBC account this is because unfortunately RBC isn’t the friendliest with the account linking process. There is a workaround, if you feel comfortable, you’ll just need to temporarily disable 2FA just for the account linking process. As soon as the account is linked you can re-enable 2FA. You can do this by following these steps:
Log into your RBC account
Click Profile & Account Settings
Click Security
Click 2-step verification
Switch it off
Please re-enable the 2FA as soon as the account link is completed.
