Where is my payment? (Sending Funds)

If you have sent a payment but the recipient hasn’t received it yet, follow these steps:

  1. Check the processing time

    1. Local payments: Typically take up to 2 business days, excluding public holidays. If the payment is taking longer than usual, please allow additional time for processing.

    2. International payments: Involve multiple banks (Vault, an intermediary, and the recipient’s bank) and may take longer.

  2. Verify payment details

    1. Ensure that you entered the correct recipient bank details and used the right payment method.

    2. Wire Transfers (SWIFT) are not the same as EFT. You cannot “wire” a payment to an EFT bank account. If the recipient provided EFT details, you must send an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) instead.

    3. Wire Transfers (SWIFT) are not the same as ACH. You cannot “wire” a payment to an ACH bank account. If the recipient provided ACH details, you must send an Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer instead.

  3. Allow for intermediary processing

    1. International payments don’t typically go directly from Vault to the recipient—they may pass through multiple intermediaries.

    2. If the details are correct, the funds are being processed and will be delivered as soon as possible.

  4. Still concerned? Contact the recipient’s bank to check for any delays on their end.
